A man surrendered his life to Jesus after reading a pastor’s Bible lost 15 years ago. And now, the man leads his whole family to Christ!
Missing Bible For 15 Years
Pastor Paul Daugherty of Victory Church shared an incredible testimony about his missing Bible in a Facebook post. He used to read it during middle and high school. Until one day, it suddenly went missing.
Pastor Paul met Clayton at Victory Church, a megachurch from Tulsa, Oklahoma, more than a decade later. Clayton walked up to him while holding an old and worn-out Bible and asked if he knew the owner. And surprisingly, he was shocked to see that it was his missing Bible 15 years ago.

The Story
Clayton apparently found Paul’s Bible in a shelter many years ago. He then began reading it, “paying attention to the short notes, scribbles beside the verses.” The curious man occasionally picked up the Bible to read the scribbled thoughts and words. Which eventually, he came to love and treasure over the years. He recently gave his life to Christ and came to the megachurch.
Incredible Reunion
The lost Bible Clayton found changed his life. But he still hadn’t figured out who the owner was. But a name P. Daugherty was written on the front cover of the Bible. So, when he asked Pastor Paul, both of them were totally astounded.
Then the pastor testified, “God used my old, messy scribbled in Bible to save this guy’s life who now is saved, set free. And brought his whole family with kids to church tonight! The WORD IS ALIVE AND POWERFUL!”

The testimonial post went viral.
Indeed, the Word of God is alive and active. Whoever reads it and genuinely seeks the truth is transformed. God’s Word continues to change people’s lives, and it never goes out of style.
Praise His Name!
“For the Word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.” -Hebrews 4:12
