Madison testified that she knew it was God orchestrating everything. Apparently, her husband pursued her for three years. Although she rejected him many times, he persisted, believing God wanted him to wait on her.
“Three years of patient, godly, relentless pursuit,” she shared. “Three years of pushing him aside, refusing to believe that someone like him could actually love and choose me. I hurt him and disrespected him, and rejected him.”

D wouldn’t give up despite her rejections because he trusted God’s word to him to wait for her.
“The past three years haven’t been fun for him,” she revealed. “But He loves the Lord so much. And he believed God was telling him to wait on me. Even while I dated other people, even when I ignored him. Even after I told him that “us” would never happen.”
Then, she encouraged other women and shared what she has learned from her experience. She stressed that “good men are still out there.”
“It’s not easy. You have to work to change patterns,” she remarked. “I had to pray that the Lord would take away my attraction for arrogant men. I had to pray that the Lord would heal wounds in my heart. And hurtful words from past relationships, and whispers from the enemy. ezI had to fight. And it was hard, I had to fight against fear. I had to fight against the idea that I would never be good enough.”
Then she attested, “Allowing God to romance my heart changed everything. When I started to believe what the Bible said about me I looked up and there he was. Still there. Three years later. God doesn’t give up on us, no matter how far we run. And I’ve seen the HARD and yet HEALING powers of a godly pursuit.”
