A man who nearly died from a fatal car crash survived the ordeal, and his family credited prayers for his miraculous survival.
Fatal Car Crash
On May 19, 2022, Nikita visited his mother-in-law, Olga, at her home. Olga walked him to the driveway when he left. Moments later, she suddenly heard a loud crash. She ran to the scene and saw her son-in-law lifeless inside the wrecked car.

Olga immediately called 911 and her church prayer chain. At that point, she felt helpless because the rescue hadn’t yet arrived, and Nikita had no pulse. But she did the most powerful thing she knew how—she prayed.
“I just start praying, I speak life..” she recounted. “Because I know God can do miracles. It’s nothing impossible for the Lord.”
Prayer And Miracle
Soon after, Nikita started breathing back to life again. She witnessed the miracle before her eyes. But even though that was the case, Nikita was barely out of the woods. He suffered from “a fractured vertebra, collapsed lung, torn spleen, and traumatic brain injury.”
Meanwhile, Nikita’s wife, Alona, was approaching her full term with her baby in the womb when the accident happened. It deeply broke her heart to see him barely surviving all his life-threatening injuries. But just like her mom, prayer was the only thing she could do. She believed in God for a miracle. Furthermore, more and more people also started rallying with them in prayer for Nikita’s life at that point.

“We had to lean into Him [God],” Alona recalled. “He was the only One that could carry us through it all.”
But despite her faith, Alona admitted how she battled with hopeless thoughts that she would lose her husband. Until God spoke to her amidst all the noise, “Your husband will not die. Do not fear.”
And in the following days and weeks, Nikita’s prayerful family witnessed the miracle before their eyes.
