Former ‘The Bachelor’ TV personality Madison Prewett Troutt addressed a message to Christian women on where they should hear their worth and value. She advised them not to settle for a second hand and intentionally heart it straight from God.
Message To Christian Women
Praise and words of affirmation from friends, family, and loved ones are a self-esteem booster. Most of the time, people want to hear it from them because they value these people a lot. But truth be told, man’s words are passing. It tends to change over time because of several factors like circumstance, emotion, or belief.

“As women of God, standing firm in our value, in our identity, in our worth, and who we truly are, it is so important that we hear from God first hand,” she stressed. “Not second hand.”
Hear It From God
She added that the revelation of a person’s identity should not come from one’s parents, friends, small group leader, or pastor.
“But you got to hear it from God,” the 27-year-old remarked. “You got to be in the Word, you got to be abiding, you got to be in prayer. You got to let God tell you who you are, you got to hear it first-hand.”
Along with heaven and earth, man is just passing. But just like what Jesus said in Matthew 24:35, “but My words will never pass away.” The Word of God will stand the test of time and will forever remain. With that said a person’s value should always be anchored in His Word.
So, never settle for a second-hand. Hear who you are first-hand from God.
