A woman shared her testimony about how God healed her lung cancer and neck tumor after receiving prayer.
Her Story
Misty came from Southern California and went to Bethel Church to pray for healing from her diagnosis. It was her third battle with cancer; she was diagnosed with lung cancer and had a tumor on her neck.
A friend named Holly invited her to church and told her that she would be prayed over.

“We went there, ate, and met a bunch of wonderful people. Then she very excitedly took me into a back room with five other people who were very excited and happy to be there,” Misty said.
For about two hours, the people around her prayed for Misty. During those two hours, something unexpected happened.
Lung Cancer and Neck Tumor Healed After Prayer
“In that two-hour period of sitting there and having them pray over me, I could feel my cancer tumor, along with the fingers that it had pulled back, harden and continue to keep getting smaller and smaller. As they pressed in harder and harder, it kept getting smaller and smaller,” Misty said.

They continued praying until someone shouted that it’s gone!
“I looked at him like there’s just no way, there’s no way. And after feeling my neck, I couldn’t find it because it was so big for me and just the slightest touch of it hurt so much. When I felt it and it was gone, my voice was back, I could breathe well, and I didn’t have any pain, I just broke down and fell over and cried. I just couldn’t believe it,” Misty recalled.
New Life After Lung Cancer and Neck Tumor Healed
Because of what happened, Misty started sharing her testimony with everyone she met along the way. Many didn’t believe, but a few believed and were encouraged to seek God and pray more.
Misty recognized the differences in her body and condition. She felt energized and, most especially, she felt like a new person.
“Sometimes your mind tells you one thing and your heart tells you something else. They get lost in translation and they agree to disagree. And then you go through something like this and you just absolutely believe. There’s no harm in saying, ‘Okay, God. I believe and surrender.’ To Him, you lose nothing but you gain the world. It’s amazing,” she concluded.
