A lukewarm Christian stopped going to church after experiencing crippling anxiety while attending a church service.

The 24-year-old TikToker named Paige sits down to tell her testimony of how she became a passionate Christian after being a lukewarm Christian. Paige grew up in a lukewarm Christian home. Her entire family had been going to church every Sunday but they also lived a worldly life the rest of the week.
During her teenage years, she started to explore her sexuality and got into unhealthy relationships with guys. In that season, she attended a Christian camp and that made her anxious.
“The guy that was preaching that night he said, he was talking about lukewarm Christianity and I was getting convicted so hard. Because he was like, ‘lukewarm Christians will not inherit the Kingdom of Heaven, they will go to hell.’ I was identifying with everything that he was saying about a lukewarm Christian. Fear started to completely overcome my body.”

Crippling anxiety and fear
She feared the power of evil and not the power of the Lord. Because of fear and anxiety, she stopped going to church for five years. She became a drunkard and partied a lot, but God kept on tugging her heart.
“Deep in my heart, I knew that God was real and I knew that He loved me but I just needed to block all that out because of the experience I had with the church.”
Four years ago, she suddenly felt the need to go back to church. Paige then said a prayer for the first time after years of avoiding anything to do with Christianity.
“Lord, if You are real and You really want me to be in church, You’re going to have to do it because there’s literally no way that I can step into that building because I feel that I’m going to pass out.”
God answered her prayer through her Christian sister who invited her to Church. There, she gave her life to Jesus Christ and left the sinful life behind. Today, she is a completely transformed woman who is passionately in love with the Lord.
