A concerned Christian, Krista Dearey, shared a message to believers about dealing with offense. She warned how offense greatly affects a believer’s faith if not dealt Christlike.
Message To Christians
Believers are not an exception to offense. At some point, some personalities and differences clash even with those who know Jesus. Ideally, offenses should be dealt with easily because Jesus taught His followers to forgive quickly. However, some Christians often dwell in offense for some reason, resulting in negative consequences among churches.

“Getting hurt, it’s inevitable,” she wrote. “Staying offended, that’s a choice. A choice that is extremely dangerous and destructive.”
Krista remarked how Christians often fall into the trap of their offenses. And it grieved her that some believers are reveling in this unlikely culture.
“We justify offense, we coddle our offense,” she said. “We even bond with others over a shared offense. And! We go as far to allow offense to guide our decisions!”
An Offended Heart
Krista also warned that with how some Christians are reveling with offense, “SATAN himself is PLEASED.” She described offense as deadly, poisonous, a partnership with Satan, and a doorway to the demonic.
She explained, “Offense bleeds out to others and is toxic. Offense offers a ceiling to your destiny, offense stunts growth.”
More importantly, Krista remarked that it grieves the Holy Spirit. And it is “not from Jesus and is not His best.”
NATHAN WALTERS: ‘GOD IS NOT MAD AT YOU’
Hence, she urged Christians to quit playing games and surrender their offenses to God.
“If we call ourselves Christians, let’s live it wholeheartedly,” she said. “We don’t have time for division. Jesus himself prayed ‘that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me.’ Let’s partner with the prayers of Jesus himself!”
Then Krista advised, “When hurt, we stay unoffendable. When we hear rumors, we acknowledge them as such and seek truth. Daily. Seeking. Freedom. Unity. Radical love.”
“May we ever be so quick to partner with Holy Spirit and search our hearts often. Daily we will have need of this. Is there any offense of division within me? Get it out! I’m a follower of Jesus. And that’s not of Him! We ain’t got no time for this. Either we partner with Satan or with Jesus. There’s only two sides. Always. Choose well.”
