In an interview with The 700 Club host Ashley Key for her book “You Can Be Free,” Kirby Kelly shared wisdom and stories from her journey as an influencer.

Since she was young, Kirby Kelly has always felt drawn to acting, film, and entertainment. It became her dream to pursue this path. When YouTube gained popularity during her middle school years, she decided to become a YouTuber to bring joy in a family-friendly manner. It was also around that time that she dedicated her life to Christ.
All To Jesus
Since then, Kirby has been an influencer for more than ten years, but it took a few years before she redirected her content to focus solely on Jesus. Her turning point came when she felt God nudging her to use her gifts and talents for His glory.
“I’m doing it for the one to reach the one,” she said.
The moment Kirby obeyed God, her breakthrough as a content creator began. Her videos went viral and ministered to many.
“This was the calling that God put on my life, to use social media and all the other platforms to preach about Him,” she stated.
When asked how she protected her integrity in the fast-paced world of social media, she mentioned that she doesn’t take negative feedback personally. Instead, God gave her the wisdom to engage in dialogue with those who write hate comments. She would listen to them and have fruitful conversations as a result, always redirecting them to the love of Christ.
Today, Kirby is also an author and a speaker who shares Jesus with others. She openly shares her experiences of pain and breakthrough from sin to lead more people to Christ.
