Pastor and evangelist Keenan Clark talked about God’s enduring love. He emphasized that even though His people would do things He would never bless, God would endure and stay with them. In fact, He came to earth as a baby to identify with those who are struggling.
According to him, God could have sent Jesus to earth as a full-grown man like Adam instead of a baby. But he believed that Jesus wanted people to realize that there’s no season in a person’s life that He can’t identify with. Jesus walked through every season so that He could relate to what His people were going through.
Eventually, he mentioned Hebrews 4:15 where it is written, “For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin.” He explained that Jesus endured it all.
What God Had to Endure
Furthermore, he highlighted, “I don’t think there’s a single thing on this little blue ball we call home that God has had to endure more than our rejection. There’s nothing the love of God has had to endure more than the rejection of people He bled and died for.”
Moreover, he elaborated by preaching that Jesus came down to earth, taking on flesh and blood, yet He ended up shedding His blood for His people. He was crucified on the cross, died, and ascended to the right hand of God, praying for His beloved children to return. Sadly, some people tend to reject Him despite what He did.
Lastly, he remarked, “God has had to endure our rejection.”
