A Jewish woman questioned her faith in Jesus until she encountered Him tangibly.

Rebekah grew up in a Jewish family who had always known and believed in Jesus. But in her twenties, she started to question her faith and what she had grown up believing. Years later, she tried to rekindle her faith and in the process of doing so, she encountered God’s grace.
“Later part of my twenties has literally been in some ways felt like rebuilding my faith. Which is hard and scary but I think is so good and I’ve seen God’s grace in it that, like so much grace.”

Questioned her faith
Rebekah’s turning point was when she tangibly felt the presence of God during one of her prayer times with her friends. At that time, Jesus highlighted a lot of fear in her life. Jesus then took her on a journey of breaking off fear.
“I feel in that instant broke off so much fear for me. So, I’m naturally an overthinker, I’m a worrier. I still am but it’s like something broke and I continue to give Jesus my fear.”
Encounter God
God didn’t rush her in encountering Him. Although He set her free at the right time and ight season in her life.
“For the longest time, I just really, really wanted that moment where you feel God tangibly. But I had so many barriers and so much fear. God doesn’t push Himself on you, He actually is so gentle and that was a revelation.”
She then ended her testimony by encouraging those who are also questioning their faith to keep persevering in seeking God.
