Veil
Phil Pringle shares a powerful message about the presence of God. Just like how Adam and Eve were sent out of the Garden of Eden because of their sin, people can also be sent out from the presence of God because of sin. Sin is like a veil that separates us from God.
“If I could just reconnect with my creator, the One who bought me, gave me existence, because I’ve been cut off by something. It’s like there are veils between me and the Almighty.”
Presence of God
Jesus is inviting you to enter into His presence because it’s where we can find peace. However, it’s our guilt that is keeping us away from Him.
“Jesus says, ‘Come to me all you who labor and harassed.’ You’ll find that there’s peace there… When you come back into the presence of God, you will find His presence is peace. Guilt always keeps us away from God.”
Tore the veil
Today, God wants you to know that the veil has already been torn when Jesus Christ died for the atonement of our sins. Jesus came for mankind to have no division between God. He wanted us to have free access to the presence of the Father.
“Then the curtain hanging in the Temple was torn in two from top to bottom.” -Matthew 27:51
“You will find that He came to destroy these veils, to take them away, to remove every barrier between us and God. And we now live with free access into the presence of God, into the presence of the most high.”
If you have already accepted Jesus Christ in your life, all your sins are now forgiven. You can now enter freely into His presence with praises and thanksgiving.
