In all that’s going on around us in the world there is only one source of true hope, and His name is Jesus. Here is how to find hope in Him.
When a child falls down, they hope to find someone to comfort them. Sometimes they find someone and sometimes they don’t.
The beauty is that we can always rely on the Holy Spirit to bring us comfort. In John 14:26 He is called our Comforter. But how do you know that you can trust Him?
Find someone you can trust
People may let us down but God is the only one who never lets us down. We can always trust Him, and that gives us hope.
In Romans 8:38-39 God promises us that nothing can separate us from His love because He is trustworthy with our hearts.
Read the stories of God’s goodness to people
There are so many stories of God’s goodness to people. We see this in Acts 10:38 where it says that Jesus went about doing good and healing people.
So when you feel like you need to know that God is good and wants to be good to you, simply open up your Bible and read all the miracles Jesus did in people’s lives.
Believe that God will do it again for you
And the final cherry on the top is that God will even help you to have hope.
In Romans 15:13 it says that the Holy Spirit will fill you with hope so that you can overflow with it. Now that’s good news!
