Today’s Verse:
The Lord says:
“These people come near to me with their mouth
and honor me with their lips,
but their hearts are far from me.
Their worship of me
is based on merely human rules they have been taught. (Isaiah 29:13)
Today’s Message:
Your worship of God happens inside your heart, not just at the place of worship or inside the church.
God doesn’t want hypocritical worship, like what Isaiah prophecied to the Israelites. Authentic worship is best seen in our obedient lives and manifested with our love for others.
If we indeed worship God, then we should believe it in our hearts. And if we believe it, it will show in our actions.
True worship changes us, transforming our behavior because we are transformed to becoming who He is.
It works from the inside out.
