Today’s Verse:
“But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength;
they shall mount up with wings like eagles;
they shall run and not be weary;

they shall walk and not faint.” Isaiah 40:31
Today’s Message:
There is a significant difference in how the world has portrayed waiting compared to how God teaches about waiting.
In a fast-paced society, the world offers services that give less waiting. As a result, people are now used to “instant” products, “instant” food, and “instant” relationships. It gives the impression that less waiting means maximized time and effectiveness. But, it does not see the bigger picture and the dangers of “instant.”
On the other hand, God teaches us to wait and be patient and trusting. He points out that waiting in Him is not waiting in vain. It is not unproductive. Because we may not see the answers to our prayers immediately, but we know it is at work.
Moreover, He strengthens us during our times of waiting. We will experience another level of closeness and security in God in these moments. We find ourselves free from frustrations because we know God does not fail to keep His promises.
So, if God is letting you wait today, don’t worry. You are in the right place at the right season in God’s calendar. Do not force your own timetable because His timing is always perfect. Shalom!
