Today’s Verses
“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.” (Jeremiah 29:11)
“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,” (1 Peter 1:3)
“Now I rejoice in my sufferings for your sake, and in my flesh I am filling up what is lacking in Christ’s afflictions for the sake of his body, that is, the church, 25 of which I became a minister according to the stewardship from God that was given to me for you, to make the word of God fully known, 26 the mystery hidden for ages and generations but now revealed to his saints. 27 To them God chose to make known how great among the Gentiles are the riches of the glory of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.” (Colossians 1:24-17)

Today’s Message
Hope does not have to be some far off feeling we want to obtain. Hope is, in fact, a person. Christ in you is the hope of all glory! While the bible promises this for us, walking it out as truth in our daily lives can be much more difficult. What can hope look like in our daily lives? Read 1 Peter 1:3 above. Through the resurrection of Jesus, we find our hope! We are born again. No longer carrying our old man–or our sin nature–but made holy and righteous through the blood of Jesus. With this truth, we are equipped to have renewed minds–minds set on hope. We can choose to have hope, despite our circumstances. Jesus inside you empowers your ability to see with eyes of hope!
