“I no longer call you servants because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you.” John 15:15
Today’s Message:
God doesn’t keep secrets from His friends. He reveals His plans to them and invites them to be a part of them.
Everything that God does He tells them to His selected people. When God planned to burn down Sodom and Gomorrah, He did not hide it from Abraham, His friend.
And ever since, He had exposed His plan of salvation to the prophets even before Jesus was born. Thus, Jesus’ birth was not kept a secret because the shepherds also received the announcement.
Now, Jesus has called you His friend, thereby gaining access to His heart and plans. Do not take this lightly and use the privilege well. And you will be amazed at what God has in store for you, your family, your community, and even your nation. Shalom!
