Today’s Verse:
“Remember this – a farmer who plants only a few seeds will get a small crop. But the one who plants generously will get a generous crop. You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. “For God loves a person who gives cheerfully.” 2 Corinthians 9:6-7
Today’s Message:
Give generously – not because you feel obliged to, but because it is the outflow of your heart.
The world has told us to keep and save. But the Bible teaches us to give, and that giving comes from a joyful heart.
If you struggle with giving, you are claiming your finances and resources as your own. You don’t see yourself as a steward of God’s blessing and grace.
Because giving is an expression of our trust in God. We believe that God is the One who will meet our every need, not the money in our pockets. And we believe God is the Source of our funds, not our skills or strength.
So, today, if you feel like you are not obeying God in the aspect of giving, ask the Holy Spirit to teach you and transform your heart in the way He wants. Shalom!
