Today’s Message:
Today, God wants you to know that you can never out-give Him. Giving puts you into a position of receiving from God. And we know that whenever God gives, He adds no trouble to it.
God wants us to practice generosity. Because through giving, we represent His good nature and heart. But more than that, it will also reflect the state of our heart. Giving reveals if we have truly trusted God as our Provider and Father.
We remember the time of the Israelites when they were still in the wilderness. God provided their needs by giving them daily manna to eat. He instructed them to collect manna that will satisfy them for the day. Because He wanted to remove the attitude of hoarding from His children. However, the Israelites not only took a portion for the day’s meal, but they also kept for themselves for tomorrow’s food. Their disobedience showed their doubt in God.
Let us end this year with a heart full of trust in God that He will indeed meet EVERY need. Whether it may be physical, spiritual, or financial. That is why we can fully give without hesitation because He is our Shepherd and in Him, we lack nothing.
