Actress Angela Halili shared on the ‘Girls Gone Bible’ podcast how God always gives signs to warn His people. These signs were not meant to instill fear but to offer peace.
Tough Love
God is love, a truth known by almost everybody. However, this love sometimes challenges people regarding their wrong decisions or mistakes because God cares too much to leave them unchanged. Hence, warnings are given at times to safeguard individuals from their weaknesses.
Angela Halili and Arielle Reitsma, hosts of the Girls Gone Bible podcast, delved into God’s warnings. Angela acknowledged that she and Arielle had attempted to disregard God’s warnings on multiple occasions, but they eventually learned their lesson.
God Will Always Warn You
“He won’t speak to you in fear,” she said. “I don’t think that bad dreams are from God. I don’t think that God will ever speak to you in fear. But I do think that He will give you warnings that come with peace.”
The actress also highlighted how God never fails to provide signs. However, in the end, it is up to the individual to decide whether to obey God’s wisdom.
“And it’s up to you whether you are obedient and discerning of that warning from Him,” she remarked. “Listen to God’s little nudges and little whispers and little warnings that He gives you.”
Then, Arielle responded, emphasizing the significance of one’s relationship with God, which plays a significant role in the matter.
“I think that comes with relationship with God,” she said. “That is when the closer you get, the louder the conviction will get. That’s why it’s so important to really open yourself up to Him and be obedient and build relationship. Because He will make the signs really loud and clear.”
