God sees you. God is a God who sees. And I love this passage in Genesis chapter 16, talking about Sarai’s servant, Hagar. Now, Hagar is not really the star of the story, and it’s actually a little bit sad when we read about her, but she had a revelation. And I believe that, God, He wants you to know that He sees you, whether anybody else seems to see you or not.
Listen to what Hagar said in Genesis 16:13. “So she called the name of the LORD who spoke to her, ‘You are a God of seeing’, for she said, ‘Truly here I have seen him who looks after me.'” So God saw her where she was in her sadness, in her grief, and she declared that He’s a God who sees.

So I just want to declare over your life today, that you are not insignificant. That God sees you. He sees every detail of your life. He has always seen you. So I just want to encourage you today, that if you’ve been in hiding, or you’ve been in any kind of sadness or depression, or you feel alone, God sees you. And if He’s the one who sees, then that is the most important.
So be encouraged by this passage today, and just know that God sees you right where you are in imperfections, and in the mess, and in all of the longings of your heart, God sees you.
So God, I just thank you for the people who are watching today, God, and I pray that you would encourage them today. I pray that their hearts are awakened to the reality that you are a God who sees. Amen.
