Thousands of Gen Z gathered at the Passion 2024 for the fame of Jesus. As they united, they broke out in a powerful worship moment!
As 2024 kicked off, the annual massive Christian worship conference “Passion” ushered in the new year with a profound spiritual awakening. From January 3-5, thousands of people aged 18 to 25 gathered for the event.
Passion started its movement in 1995. According to their official website, they have one mission—”calling students from campuses across the nation and around the world to live for what matters most.. that is the name and renown of Jesus.” For the record, “Passion has had the privilege of encountering millions of students and 18-25-year-olds, a sea of young people whose lives have been transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit.”
It has been decades since the Passion started gathering teens and young adults. Each year, God does remarkable work for every generation. This time, it’s the Gen Z’s turn.
From January 3 to 5, Passion 2024 took place at Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium, drawing thousands of Gen Z attendees. The event featured some Christian guest speakers and worship leaders including, Pastor Louis Giglio, Sadie Robertson Huff, Pastor Jonathan Pokluda, Pastor Levi Lusko, Brandon Lake, Kari Jobe, and Phil Wickham.
During the last session of the event, a powerful worship broke out. A video recording from that moment shows how thousands bowed in awe to the Lord of lords and the King of kings as they worshiped Him. They sang “Agnus Dei” and “Worthy is the Lamb” to revere God’s holiness.
The young people continued to raise their voices in worship even without the musical instruments playing. Every teen and young adult in attendance was seen focused on worshiping God.
