Photos of a father identified as Tatay (a Filipino term that literally means “dad”) Alejandro with his son touched thousands of people’s hearts! Those are not just normal photos but it captures selfless love of a father for his son.
According to Front Row, a local television show, Tatay Alejandro takes his son to school every day, whether it rains or shines. However, he is bound in a wheelchair thus his only way to take his son to school is by “driving” his wheelchair. Tatay Alejandro carries his son on his lap and manually pushes his wheelchair on a busy highway.

“Father of the Year”
Tatay Alejandro’s 7-year-old son Junior is now currently on his 2nd Grade and attends the Pasig Elementary School. According to the loving father, he does this to ensure his son’s safety and to save on fare expenses. Many who were touched by their story called Tatay Alejandro as the “Father of the Year”. They were also commenting on how he is the best example of fatherhood.
Father’s Love
When he was still 5 years of age, Tatay Alejandro was stricken with polio resulting in his inability to walk. Despite his physical disability, he was blessed to have married later on his life and have a child. He is clearly doing his best to live up to his role as a father.
Tatay Alejandro sets an example of what a father’s love really looks like. Just like how God sacrificed his everything just for us, His children, Tatay Alejandro is also sacrificing much because of his love for his son. He is reflecting on God’s love and showing it to his son! This is what a father’s love looks like, a selfless love.
