An ex-convict changed his life after he heard a common Bible story, the Prodigal Son.
Ex-Convict
Mo Lalakobau grew up in a church but left the church in 2006. He tried to live a worldly life to satisfy himself. After some time, his life spiraled and he found himself inside prison walls.
He went to jail three times and found himself surrounded by a lot of drugs and other vices. However, that’s where he also heard the voice of the Lord calling out to him.
“This is the kind of environment that I was in and I could hear God’s voice calling out, ‘Do you really understand what’s happening around you?’ God constantly calling out to me. I had totally given up, I totally given up on myself, I just always just kind of whatever happens,” he testified.

Prodigal Son
Right after he came out of prison in 2019, he went to a church where the pastor was preaching about the Prodigal Son. A Bible story that many have already heard and memorized, but for him, it was God’s way of calling out to him. He had been running from the Lord for 13 years.
The voice of the Lord calling out to him is what made Mo change his life.
“There’s nothing that God can’t do… I stand here today to tell you how good our God is, I understand now who the source of my life is. I understand now. Hallelujah! I understand the source of my being.”
