Christian digital creator Ally Yost recently shared an emotional video, urging people to praise God even during moments of numbness.

The host of Christ with Coffee on Ice, Ally Yost, delivered a poignant message for everyone. With tears in her eyes, she shared what God had revealed to her. She acknowledged that people may not always sense God’s presence, but it doesn’t mean He’s absent. Ally recounted a specific instance when she couldn’t feel God’s presence.
“I’m praying, and I’m doing all the right things. I’m reading my Bible, and I’m doing my devotional. But, like, for some reason, I just couldn’t feel Him,” she recalled.
Despite this, she persisted in praising and communicating with God through the numbness. She reassured herself that even though she couldn’t feel His presence, she believed He was there. She activated her faith and deepened her prayer life.

Praise God Through the Numbness
Then, one morning, she awoke and played some worship music. Suddenly, she felt God’s presence.
“I just felt like I could breathe again. I think it just goes to show how much we need Him,” she testified.
According to her, the feeling was indescribable; she simply knew that God was with her.
“I literally feel like I was held underwater for like four days. Like I literally felt like I couldn’t breathe,” she recounted. After sharing her story, she encouraged people, especially those who might be struggling to feel God’s presence. With a heart full of faith, she reminded them to praise God despite the numbness. “You gotta praise Him through it because you’re gonna feel Him again,” she highlighted.
Moreover, she added to her post’s caption, “If you’re in a weird funk with God, it’s going to be OKAY !!!! Keep talking to Him through it. He’s never left you and never will, even through the numbness.”
