David Diga Hernandez exposes Satan’s first attack on believers and warns them of his schemes.
Satan’s First Attack
According to David, Satan’s first attack on humanity will also be his same tactic to crush believers today because of its effectiveness. He said, “Satan’s very first attack against humanity was effective because he was able to get mankind to question the word.”
He then referred to Genesis 3, where the serpent came and tempted Eve into eating the forbidden fruit. Genesis 3:1 says, “Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the Lord God had made. He said to the woman, “Did God really say, ‘You must not eat from any tree in the garden’?”
In the same way, this is also how Satan deceives believers today. He tries to pit believers against the Word of God. David warns, “First, he’ll get you to question the Word. Then, he’ll get you to contradict the word. Furthermore, he doesn’t even have to get you to question the Word, if he can convince you to neglect the Word.”
David reminded us what the enemy is good at, and that is to steal, kill, and destroy. John 10:10 says, “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy…”
He said, “Once he can steal the word from your life, he can kill and destroy.”
So, what does David advise to believers to defend themselves against the attack of the enemy?
He shared, “Receive the Word daily and then stand upon it. Don’t question it, even if society or friends try to get you to do so. Will you stand upon the Word?”
David’s message tells us to prioritize the Word of God. Trust in His Word and everything He has spoken. Numbers 23:19 says, “God is not a man, that He would lie, Nor a son of man, that He would change His mind; Has He said, and will He not do it? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?”
