The founder and senior pastor of World Changers Church International (WCCI), Creflo Dollar, shared a powerful message of hope and resilience with his Instagram followers. He spoke about those moments in life that often bring discomfort. He posed a thought-provoking question, “Did you know that God wants you to learn how to find comfort in the midst of these uncomfortable situations? He doesn’t want you to complain, wonder, or doubt His power or character when faced with discomfort.”
Then, he highlighted that when it was time to grow, God would allow some discomfort in people’s lives. This was not to punish them but to allow them to practice what they learned about Him. He wanted His children to apply the lessons about resisting, withstanding, and fighting against the devil. According to him, the difficult seasons that they face would help people grow and mature.

Furthermore, he explained why God would allow His people to go through uncomfortable situations. “We must be changed into the image of Jesus Christ,” he said. Then, he encouraged people to be patient through the discomfort, not to be afraid, and to remember that God was with them.
“We keep trying to get God to take away the fiery furnace. He’s not gonna take away the fiery furnace. But I’ll tell you what: He’ll get in that furnace with you. He’s not gonna take away the lion’s den. Then, He’ll get in there with you. He’s not gonna take away all the trouble you see. But He’ll get right there in it with you,” he emphasized.
Lastly, he urged the people to embrace this transformative message, as it held the power to change their lives. With this understanding, they would not only prosper amid discomfort but also continuously defeat the devil.
