Following the victory, his wife, Anna Kupp, rushed onto the field and hugged her husband tight. The emotional moment when she ran to him was captured on video. Then the wife posted it on Instagram, thanking God.
She wrote, “This moment. These moments!!! Thanking God for every one of them.” And then Anna revealed how the couple had prayed for such a moment.
“We have prayed for a season to glorify our Savior Jesus Christ, and you are doing just that, my lovey @cooperkupp. SURREAL!!” she said.

Outspoken Christians
In a report by Sports Spectrum, the Kupps are Christians who are outspoken about their faith. They also own an apparel line that puts their faith on display.
Further, in an interview with ESPN, Cooper shared his love story with Anna. The football player revealed that since meeting Anna, he knew she was the girl he would marry.

“I knew that she was the one that I wanted to marry when we had first met back in high school,” he said. “I told my mom the day I met her, ‘I’m going to marry this girl.'”
Hence, they dated but had to endure a long-distance relationship for nearly two years before they tied the knot.
“We just were so aligned in terms of what our goals were and what we wanted to do moving forward. And what we wanted to be about as a couple,” Cooper recalled. “And the belief that football was the community, was the place that I was supposed to be. That we were supposed to be, and that’s where God placed us.”
