The faith-based story centers around a reporter “demoted to a rural news station.” Apparently, the plot unfolds as the pessimist reporter befriended a “recovering addict” in that community while covering a new story. Then unbeknown to her, as she covered “about a church struggling to purchase a motel for homeless families,” she was gradually transformed.

The film’s actors included Dean Cain; “God’s Not Dead” star, T.C. Stallings; “Courageous & War Room” star, and Sean Young; “Blade Runner” actor.
Bring Hope
The General Manager of SalemNOW, Rob Ellis, shared the team’s excitement in their venture. They aim to bring the film “into the homes of families everywhere.” SalemNOW believes it “will inspire others to make a difference and bring hope to their community.”
Also, “No Vacancy” producer, Art Ayris, shared how the film is based on a true story. He shared how it all started. Apparently, the idea began after what their “church was doing to help the homeless” made headlines. And discovering how it blessed many, the church decided to make a film of their ministry to the homeless.
“Our church is used to trying to do the impossible, so we made a film,” Art explained. “While not every church can do this, we can all do something. This true-to-life motion picture portrays the immense struggles and subsequent miracles that followed. And our hope is this movie spurs others to recognize what is possible when we trust God with what seems to be the impossible.”
