Just this week, Chris Pratt shared that he “wouldn’t change a thing” what he said during his MTV Speech in 2018 when he mentioned God.
Nine Rules Of Chris Pratt Message
In August 2018, actor Chris Pratt won the “Generation Award” at MTV Movie & TV Awards. He went viral because of the nine rules he shared with the audience. Apparently, his speech contained humor, and above all, he boldly shared about God onstage after receiving the award.
Chris shared nine rules, and one of the most remarkable points was when he said, “God is real. God loves you. God wants the best for you. Believe that – I do.” Also, he advised people to “learn to pray.” Then he ended it with saying, “nobody is perfect,” highlighting God’s Grace and what Jesus did on the Cross.
And he explained, “BUT there’s a powerful force that designed you that way. And if you’re willing to accept that, you will have Grace, and Grace is a gift. And like the freedom that we enjoy in this country, that Grace was paid for with somebody else’s blood. Do not forget it. Don’t take it for granted.”
‘Wouldn’t Change A Thing’
Today, the actor revisited that memory in his Instagram post. Chris declared that he “wouldn’t change a thing” in that three-minute message he imparted to the next generation.” And if he were “given the chance to do it again,” he would surely do it. Then he jokingly added, “Except maybe I wouldn’t try to eat the popcorn backstage.”
Chris has always been a controversial actor because of his bold stand on his Christian faith. Nevertheless, he never backed down and remained faithful to God despite the persecutions.
“It’s authentic for me to be pro-Christian, pro-Jesus,” he told the Associated Press in an interview. “That’s my thing. I like it.”
