A pastor’s son testified how God lead him to break off from addiction to pornography and fornication.
Pastor’s Son
Jesse Williams grew up in a happy and wealthy Christian home with his father as a pastor. He had been a church member since he was a little but he didn’t understand what it all meant at that time. When he was in 6th grade, he was exposed to pornography, and that led to an addiction. Soon after, he lost his virginity because of peer pressure.
“It was the beginning of me going into, I guess you could say a tunnel of depression, suicide, anger rage, and even rejection. I felt so alone,” he recalled.
Pornography Addiction
It reached a point when he had to confess his addiction to his parents because of a virus that got on his phone. After that, he still continued his promiscuous behavior. However, one night, when he was about to sleep with a girl, he heard the Lord telling him to leave that room, so he did.
Right after leaving that room, he received a call from a friend who invited him to a Kirk Franklin concert that same night. While he was getting ready to go to the concert, he heard again the Lord speaking to him.
“Jesse, if you follow me, if you obey me, I will take you to places that you thought you could never go. I will open doors for you that you thought you could never go. I will open for you that you thought you would never stand in front of,” the voice of the Lord said to Jesse.

At that moment, he decided to give his life to Jesus Christ and made a conscious decision to serve the Lord.
“I understood how much I needed the blood of Jesus, I understood how much I needed the power of the Gospel in my life. I understood how much I needed a savior, I understood how much of a sinner I was and how unclean I was, and how I needed to be clean and made whole again.”
After getting tested, the results came back negative for all sexually transmitted diseases.
“My testimony, that was God’s way of expressing to me that the condemnation and the weight of my sin had no authority over me anymore. And so from then on, I started to just serve God.”
Today, the pastor’s son, Jesse Williams, serves the Lord through ministries, leading people to Jesus Christ.
