A seven-year-old boy who has been sucked up in a deadly tornado in Abilene, Texas came out alive and his family proclaimed that it was an “absolute miracle.”
Deadly Tornado Hits Texas
A deadly tornado hit Texas earlier last month displacing many residents in the town of Abilene. One of the survivors, the Lambert family, miraculously survived the ordeal and the parents shared how they almost lost their son to the tragedy.
WHAT IS GOD’S MESSAGE FOR ME TODAY?
Storm chaser Freddy McKinney shared the video he filmed while following the tornado. It showed how it wrecked the home of the Lamberts and its neighborhood. At first, he didn’t know there were people. But as soon as he went near the destroyed homes, he saw people running towards him. They were the couple Kasey and Wes with their 4-year-old daughter Allie and 7-year-old son Lane.
“Please, God, help! Hurry,” Kasey desperately pleaded at that moment. Then, thankfully, the storm chaser rescued them and rushed them to a hospital.
Miraculous Survival
In an interview with KWTX-TV, Kasey recounted the horrifying moment. The family never knew that the hurricane was already near because it had no sound.
“We could hear the nails coming out of the board and bricks and wood flying, metal being ripped,” she told the outlet. “But that’s all we could hear. Had we have been asleep and not seen it, we wouldn’t have ever known.”
But what’s scarier was when they weren’t able to get ahold of their son when the tornado ripped through their home. The whole family hid in the closet. But the seven-year-old got sucked up into the strong winds.
“Lane got sucked up in the tornado,” Bradye McQueen, Kasey’s cousin told the outlet. “They couldn’t hold him down. It sucked him up and he flew like 25 feet. They thought he was gone.”
But thank God, the young boy survived although he “dislocated his shoulder and had severe cuts to his face.”
“It is an absolute miracle,” Kasey proclaimed. “It was strong enough that we shouldn’t have been able to walk away.”
