Not every child is blessed to have a family responsible enough to take care of them, especially if one is born with special needs. That’s why a 13-year-old orphan boy with special needs is praying every day for a forever family.
Boy With Special Needs Prays To Have A Family
Christopher has been waiting to be adopted and find parents who will treat him as their own. But sadly, he never got one for many years.
He is a determined and confident boy who can accomplish and overcome anything. Fortunately, God blessed him to have a CPS caseworker who loves him.
Tamaya Reese, the CPS caseworker, says, “I love that kid, and I want this baby to get his family. He’s a big-hearted kid and loves people. That’s a kid that doesn’t see limitations, and I don’t want anybody to see him and feel that he has limitations.
Further, she added, “Christopher is not a child that sees himself as having different challenges. He feels that he can accomplish anything and overcome anything. And he’s funny. He has a sense of humor like nobody else.”
“He needs a family that’s going to love him and be patient with him. Most of all, Christopher needs a family that’s going to accept him for who he is.”
A Family Who Will Adopt Him And Love Him
In an interview with WFAA, the 13-year-old said, “Will you please give me an adoptive home. My dream is to be a firefighter. I want to help people and rescue animals.”
According to the report, Christopher always includes this wish in his daily prayers to God.
Despite years and years of waiting for kindhearted parents who will accept him, the young boy is hopeful.
“I’m glad that he continues to have that hope, that one day it’s going to be my turn,” Tamaya said.
