Jesus is inviting you right now to follow Him and boldly proclaim His Gospel to all the nations.
Jesus’ invitation
Thomas Robinson, regional director of GOD TV India, is encouraging everyone to boldly proclaim the Gospel. Jesus called us into His great commission which is to share the Gospel with all the nations. However, He is not forcing us to do so, He is giving us the free will to follow Him and be a part of His Kingdom works.
“Jesus did not force anyone to follow Him,” Thomas said. “He extended the invitation and then allowed His followers to decide how far they would go with Him.”
“From this time many of his disciples turned back and no longer followed him. ‘You do not want to leave too, do you?’ Jesus asked the Twelve. Simon Peter answered him, ‘Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life.’” -John 6:66
Boldly proclaim His Gospel
Just as Jesus Christ gave His disciples the choice to follow Him or not, He is also giving us that same free will today. It is either we abandon our lives and follow Him or we abandon Him and His teachings.
“Each one had to choose either walk away from his life and boldly proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ or turn from Him and abandon His teachings.”
As we decide to follow Him and be a part of His great commission, may the boldness to share the Gospel to everyone be upon you. Do not be discouraged because God is with you wherever you go. The world needs the good news right now more than ever, be the light upon this world.
“Be bold, stay in the Word, and be encouraged. If God is with you, who can be against you?”
