As school starts back this month, Gaither Music shared their songs of things they must tell children.

The music duo consists of couple Bill and Gloria Gaither. The legendary Christian musicians have written numerous songs and having contributed greatly to the Christian music industry.
Their popular songs include “Yes I Know,” “God on the Mountain,” “Because He Lives,” and more.
Recently, the couple reappeared on the screen to share one of the songs that they view essential for parents. The song was written during their early years of marriage, when they already had three kids.
“So we said, ‘What are the important things that we’re going to try to get across to these kids?’ Every parent goes through it.”
So the Gaithers wrote a heartwarming song for parents to share “the most important things” with their children.
They named the song “Things I Must Tell My Children.”
The Most Important Thing
In the song, Gloria revealed the most important thing that she must tell her children that is found in the Word of God.
She began by sharing about the day to day of being a mom. Each day was filled of chores and meeting the needs of the kids.
But in one of the quiet moments she picked up the Bible and read, “You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise…”
Gloria admitted that she did good things for her children, but she hadn’t told them this. And so, they wrote a song about it.
