Beyoncé is… well BEYONCÉ. She is one of the biggest stars on the planet, has sold 100 million records worldwide, is the most nominated woman in Grammy Award history and can boast 22 wins, and she just happens to also be an actress, dancer, business woman, wife, and mother of two. Oh and she’s done it all in a killer pair of heels.
But this seemingly untouchable, unstoppable woman is also very much a human like any of us, who has need of the “something greater/bigger than myself”.
In this interview, an unguarded Beyonce gives us a glimpse of the interior woman and how she views her fame. “I am… a result of my grandmother’s prayer.” With her emotional declaration, “God is real!” we see the girl who found her voice singing in Church on Sunday mornings.
We pray that girl always keeps Beyoncé rooted and ground in faith. May the Lord continue to use her voice to declare, GOD IS REAL.
