Recently, Pastor Vlad Savchuk shared about 20 ways a husband can show love to his wife.

He uses Ephesians 5:25–26 to show husbands how they can better love their wives.

“Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her. That He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word.” Ephesians 5:25-26

20 Ways a Husband Can Show Love to His Wife I

1. Buy her flowers
“God wants us to have this romantic passion and love in our marriage and one of them that helps that is buying flowers.”

2. Take her out on a date
“One pastor said, ‘If there will be more courting in our marriages, less of our marriages will be in courts.”

3. Open the car door
“It does show this respect, honor, and pursuit. And it’s beautiful.”

4. Load the dishes
“Show her love by doing some of these practical things like loading dishes.”

5. Be her photographer without complaining
“Appreciate her beauty, take the photo, and don’t complain.”

6. Compliment her on her looks and her character
“She wants to know she’s beautiful specifically to her husband. It doesn’t matter what other men think about her whether she’s beautiful or not.”

7. Take out the garbage
“Taking it right away shows your contribution to the family and that shows love.”

After Being Paralyzed by a Car Accident, This Man Received a Message From God

A man testified to a life-changing event after being paralyzed by a car accident that turned his life around. When he was about to give up, he heard a message from God.

Paralyzed by a Car Accident

When he got into an accident, Vincent didn’t know if he would ever recover.

He was on his way to help his younger brother, who had a problem with his car.

“I pull the truck back, and I pull out on the highway, taking my time. I don’t put my seatbelt back on simply because this is just a quick, little turnaround. This is easy; we do this all the time,” he recalled.

But as soon as he got to the farthest fast lane, another pickup truck was coming off the exit and T-boned Vincent right in the middle of his pickup truck.

“Almost split it in half. I flew from the driver’s side all the way to the passenger side of the truck, and the most damage was done when my neck snapped back and my spine was severed,” he said.

Healed After Being Paralyzed by a Car Accident

He woke up in the hospital a couple days later, but what he noticed was that he couldn’t feel his body. Before he could even get a thought of what was going on, he heard the voice of the Lord.

“Don’t panic. I will heal you.”

“Those few words taught me that this wasn’t a punishment; this was an assignment. … It’s almost like God just knows who can handle what. He said, He’ll never put more on you than you can bear, and I truly believe that. I’ve lived it,” Vincent said.

In moments like that, all you can do is lean on God. You don’t know that God is all you need and that God is all you have until you’ve seen the dead end.

And so, because of what happened, Vincent made up his mind.

Who is Jesus to You?

“I made it my mind immediately; I’m going to be the guy who applies everything that I’ve believed in my whole life. In this season, I need God more now than ever,” he said.

When asked who Jesus was to him, he said, “Everything. He’s my example; He’s my father; He’s my strength. … I believe that Jesus is the true Son of God. He walked this earth, He lived, He was crucified, He gave His life for us. … I shall live and not die. He died so that I can be here today and live. He died so that I could live for him,” he concluded.

Former Gang Member Prayed For The First Time While Hiding From The Police Outside The Church

A former gang member who didn’t know how to pray, but he called out to God and received His love.

Former Gang Member

A former gang member recalled being happy when he was in jail. For him, it was like an accomplishment.

“I remember being glad that I have gotten locked up. Because of, I mean, how much I had accomplished at that time. As a criminal, I had committed a murder and several armed kidnappings,” he said.

He didn’t think about God during those times. The first time he prayed, it was because he was hiding from the police.

“I remember the first time I thought about God, I was on the run in a stolen car, and I parked outside a church to hide from the police. And I remember praying to God for the first time, just a random prayer. I didn’t want to change. But it was the first time I thought about God in any way,” he said.

Former Gang Member Found Hope In Jesus

Even though he didn’t want anything to do with God, he found hope when someone put a Bible under his bed. That was the start of his pursuit of God.

“I am in prison for life. I was hopeless until I found Jesus. I remember when I got to jail, I came to my bunk and a Bible was laying on my bed. And I just started reading and I couldn’t stop. It was at that moment that I started having self-disgust. I started feeling bad about what I had done, which I had never felt before. It was all God. It was ALL God.”

“And during those days of reading the Bible, I gave my life to Jesus, and I have never been the same. And When I found Jesus, I found purpose. I have apologized to some of my victims and their families and told them how sorry I am,” he said while tearing up.

A New Beginning

Because of God’s conviction through His Word, this former gang member is experiencing a new life. He is now partnering with God to share the Good News with the people inside the prison walls.

“During my time in prison, I graduated from seminary, and now I am one of the pastors here in prison. I am one of the very few inmates that gets to go into cells to pray and share Jesus with other inmates,” he said.

He is also teaching the re-entry program for the men who will get out of prison. During the years he has taught, there are ZERO inmates who have come back to prision.

“I know without a shadow of doubt that God did something to my heart. I have not been the same ever since,” he concluded.

5-Year-Old Girl Sees Jesus In Heaven, And Is Telling The World Of His Love

She was just five years old when Ginger saw Jesus in heaven. It was her first time attending a church service, and God met her there.

Ginger was raised in a non-Christian, abusive home. In their household, they weren’t allowed to go to church.

But one day, a woman took her to a meeting, and she had a vision. She saw the Messiah.

It was a tent meeting and people were all over the place worshiping.

“I’ve never been to anything like that. I was frightened because we weren’t allowed to go to church,” Ginger said.

All of a sudden, she was taken up by something out of her control. The top of the tent went away, and everything started to vanish.

Ginger Saw Jesus in Heaven

“I was going up, up, up, up. I didn’t know what was happening because I didn’t read the Bible, had no knowledge. But I looked up, and there was Jesus, and He revealed Himself to me on the cross. But He was looking straight into my eye. I mean, His eyes were in my eyes; my eyes were in His eyes. I was a little girl, so I was just looking at Him. His blood came down, and I was just looking at Him.

“He never said a word, but something so miraculous happened to me. I was so changed. He came, His blood came down, and then I don’t know how long I was gone. I didn’t even know I was gone,” Ginger recalled the moment.

That day, she went home excited and read the Bible that her grandmother had. And she ended up giving her life to Jesus.

Decades Later

Life went on for Ginger as she became a wife and a mother. Again, much later in her life, she saw Jesus in heaven again.

It happened when she was attending a service. The preacher talked about the Holy Spirit, and Ginger remembered how excited and hungry she was for God during that time.

So, when she went home, went to the closet, opened her Bible, and prayed.

There, in that closet, she saw Jesus in heaven. Like what happened when she was just five years old, only better.

“I was lying on the ground, and my fingers were touching His toes. I could see Him but I also saw Him from here [the waist] down. The throne was huge. I was amazed because I thought everything in heaven is white. But it wasn’t. I had this beautiful color that I’ve never seen before,” Ginger described.

God’s Love

Ginger went on to describe how she realized God was love. “I realized His throne is made of love. His clothes, His robe, it was love, and it was iridescent. And I was just worshiping and like, “He loves me. Oh my God, You love me.” I was just so overwhelmed. And I said, “Lord, Lord. They didn’t know You loved them. I got to go all around the world and convince them. Even if they are saved or not saved.”

“The next thing I know, I’m back in the closet.”

Ginger went outside the closet glowing and full of God’s glory, which shocked her family. Because of that experience, she went everywhere telling people about God’s love. To her family, friends, and even to a policeman who was directing traffic.

A person is forever changed when God encounters them. And for Ginger, she made sure to share her supernatural experience so people would also encounter God’s love.

A Psychiatrist Testifies That Demons And Demonic Possession Are Real

If you’re a Christian, you know that the spirit realm exists. But it hits differently when a psychiatrist testifies that demons are real.

Dr. Richard Gallagher

Dr. Richard Gallagher is a psychoanalyst on the faculty at Columbia University and a professor of psychiatry at New York Medical. He wrote a book about demons and demonic possession in America.

In one of his published blogs in The Washington Post, he wrote, “I’m a man of science and a lover of history; after studying the classics at Princeton, I trained in psychiatry at Yale and in psychoanalysis at Columbia. That background is why a Catholic priest had asked my professional opinion, which I offered pro bono, about whether this woman was suffering from a mental disorder. This was at the height of the national panic about Satanism.”

He wrote this in July 2016.

Demons and Demonic Possession

Even though Dr. Richard has been in his field for many years, he acknowledged that this particular topic is controversial.

“In my experience, the idea of demonic possession is so controversial and so often misunderstood that I want at the outset to establish some scholarly plausibility to the notion along with my bona fides.” This was written in the introduction of his book. Entitled, “Demonic Foes: My Twenty-Five Years as a Psychiatrist Investigating Possessions, Diabolic Attacks, and the Paranormal.”

Dr. Richard emphasizes stories regarding demonic manifestations like levitation and remote seeing, in which possessed individuals may communicate what someone is doing and where they are doing it while being hundreds of miles away. He used Julia as an example.

A Psychiatrist Testifies that Demons are Real

“Julia demonstrated to me very clearly that she could see, for instance, the chief exorcist at a distance [even though] he was 100 miles away,” Dr. Richard stated this in an interview with The Christian Post last Thursday at his house.

“She could describe him to a tee and what he was doing which was unusual for his normal routine. There’s no way she could have guessed that. If one is familiar with occult literature, one realizes that there are occultists, people [who] have turned to dark arts who claim they have a third eye, and that they can see things from a distance, this is an analogous phenomenon. She had this paranormal ability to do that. And she was very clear where she got that ability,” he added.

“People have tried to study these things for years without reaching much in the way of a conclusion. Human beings don’t have those abilities on their own. They either get it from below or from above. Julia recognized that and she recognized that she got these paranormal abilities from Satan himself,” he further explained.

Demons and Demonic Possession are Real

Nonetheless, Dr. Richard cautions that, while there is proof that demons and demonic possession exist, caution must be exercised while discussing the subject in order to avoid exaggerations.

Demons and demonic possession are real. In the Bible, Jesus Himself encountered a few and cast out some. And people have seen it.

Though we are convinced that they exist and are real, the power of Jesus far outweighs their power over us. If in this world we have troubles, we need not worry because Jesus overcame the world.

Man Imprisoned For 33 Years Leads Over 500 Inmates To Christ

He was just 19 years old when he was incarcerated, but after being imprisoned for 33 years, he is now free.

Imprisoned For 33 Years

When Carlos was released from prison, many inmates celebrated with him. He was a special man who led many people to Christ. He led men to God at Goose Creek and ministering to the inmates.

“Thank you, praise God. He’s the sword, and He’s the One who controls our lives. Without Him, we cannot do it. It can be done with Him. And all things are possible,” said the man who led over 500 inmates to Jesus in Alaska.

Carlos went to prison at a very young age. His journey toward incarceration started when he was still 19 years old.

Imprisoned For 33 Years, Led Men To Christ

Carlos became involved in a life of drugs and violence, which resulted in a 50-year prison sentence. But his past didn’t put him out of reach of God’s grace and mercy. He met Jesus and began introducing hundreds of other men to Him while imprisoned in Alaska.

His life became an inspiration to many, to the point that even the DOC assigned him to other jails to proclaim the gospel because it was making such an impact in prisons.

And now, after being imprisoned for 33 years, he’s finally free. When he was released, he hugged his daughter, who was one year old when he was imprisoned, along with his granddaughter.

Former Satan Worshiper Found A Bible In His Jail

A man, who was a former Satan worshiper, thought that the devil would help him get out of jail. Indeed, he found help, but from Someone else.

Former Satan Worshiper

A man who was afraid to spend 25 years in prison believed that the devil would help him out. He was a Satan worshiper who was angry at God. When he saw a Bible, he would always scoff at it.

But something changed when He saw a Bible in His cell. His hatred for God was gone in an instant, and was replaced with gratitude.

He shared it this way:

“On my first nights where they locked me up, there happened to be a TV shortage. Where there was the TV that was supposed to be, instead there was a Bible. And so, being a worshiper of the enemy, my first reaction was to pick up that Bible, and I grabbed the pen, and I drew a satanic sign on the first page of the Bible.

Former Satan Worshiper Read the Bible

“And I threw it to the corner out of hatred. Even though all my powers have been stripped from me, I thought even then, if I still worship the enemy, he’ll get me out. But yeah, I was terribly wrong. I thought to myself, if I’m such a smart guy, then, really, I should read the plans of the enemy.”

“And so I picked the Bible up and I started reading it. And I think in the spirit, you know, it was God kindly just grabbing a little boy by the ears and just dragging me into a room and saying, “Look. Listen, we need to have a little chat.”

“And by the third night, I felt a voice deep in my heart speak to me and say, “Aren’t you afraid you’re in this place; you have no way out; the enemy’s not going to get you out? I think my greatest fear was thinking, you know, I could get 25 years.”

“So, I knelt down at that moment and I said, “Jesus, if You’re real, I’ll give You a go.” And that’s how I got saved. No one came and spoke to me. It was just a Bible left in my cell.

“And on my very last night in prison, I knelt down and prayed, and I said, “God, You’ve been so kind to me; You’ve protected me the whole time. How do I honor You?” He said, “Look, just pray to Me like you do every day and read My Word.””

A Violent Criminal Was Saved By This Bible Verse

A violent criminal was saved by God inside his prison cell. John testifies that with God, nothing is impossible.

Growing up

John had fond memories of his childhood.

“I really had a good life as a child. Mom and dad seemed to be happy. My dad was a policeman, and my little brother was born. Things seemed to be going really well,” he said.

But things completely changed when he turned 10. His mom and younger brother had to move because his grandfather had terminal cancer. Then his dad had an affair.

He was left by his dad, who locked him in a flat. For three days he went hungry, until someone rescued him. After that incident, John had to move with his mom who lived in a rough neighborhood.

“It was an environment where I saw kids my age sniffing glue, taking drugs, carrying blades, and preparing to use them. That was my first encounter with violence. Violence in that community is a means to get respect,” he said.

A Violent Criminal was Saved

Later in life John became a nightclub bouncer and joined a motorcycle gang. He ended up being a bodyguard for the Rolling Stones and managed a brothel in London at one point. John was eventually apprehended by the police, and was given a five-year prison sentence for extortion. All John could think about while he was incarcerated was committing new crimes, but one day a fellow prisoner persuaded him to visit the Christian fellowship.

“While serving five years in prison, I met this Nigerian guy who was a Christian, and that was one thing I didn’t like about him. But he insisted for four months that I come to Bible study. And one day I changed my mind because he shared with me something really important. He said that the pastor brings in cake, coffee, and biscuits. And I said, “Wow, why didn’t you share that with me before?” John laughed. “I was impacted by the twelve prisoners there who sat back in their chairs and began to sing,” he added.

A Violent Criminal Was Saved By This Bible Verse: Ezekiel 18:30-32

They sang “Open the Eyes of My Heart, LORD,” which made John cry.

“And that night I opened the Bible and read from the book of Ezekiel. I found out that the only way is through Christ,” he said.

“Therefore, you Israelites, I will judge each of you according to your own ways, declares the Sovereign Lord. Repent! Turn away from all your offenses; then sin will not be your downfall. Rid yourselves of all the offenses you have committed, and get a new heart and a new spirit. Why will you die, people of Israel? For I take no pleasure in the death of anyone, declares the Sovereign Lord. Repent and live!” (Ezekiel 18:30-32, NIV).

That evening transformed John’s life. Following a week of reading the Bible and hearing the Gospel, John devoted his life to Jesus. He experienced a new heart and spirit that come when you accept Christ as your Savior. He was created anew in Christ that day.

When asked if he wanted to say something to people who have been through similar struggles, he answered: “I was among the most violent of people. I had no heart, and I was willing to murder. Was so lost, but I found God. I found that God is real. I looked at this world and saw the mess we’re in. And I knew in that moment that there was a Creator. In that moment in my cell, I realized there is God. And I tell you, I don’t know who you are or what you’ve done. But I know that if God can forgive a violent animal like me, then He can also forgive you. Search for Him, repent, and surrender your life to Jesus Christ.”

Jesus Heals A Boy Whom Doctors Said Wouldn’t Walk Again

The doctors told a mother of a little boy that her son would never walk again. But Jesus still heals and his life is a testimony!

Jesus Heals

The life and ministry of Jesus were about healing miracles that encouraged His followers to do the same. Jesus showed His compassion through those miracles, like how He opened a deaf man’s ear.

“There some people brought to him a man who was deaf and could hardly talk, and they begged Jesus to place his hand on him. After he took him aside, away from the crowd, Jesus put his fingers into the man’s ears. Then he spit and touched the man’s tongue. He looked up to heaven and with a deep sigh said to him, “Ephphatha!” (which means “Be opened!”). At this, the man’s ears were opened, his tongue was loosened, and he began to speak plainly” (Mark 7:31–35).

The Crippled Woman In The Bible

Jesus healed a crippled woman, too. “One Sabbath, Jesus was teaching in a synagogue, and a woman was there who had been crippled by an evil spirit for 18 years. She was completely bent over and could not straighten up. When Jesus saw the woman, he called her over and said, “You are now well.” He placed his hands on her, and at once she stood up straight and praised God. (Luke 13:10–13).

Time and again, God never fails to remind His people that Jesus heals!

And one recent testimony proved this. As an act of faith, a mother who prayed for her son even when doctors said there was no hope.

Jesus Heals A Little Boy

She said in a caption: “I personally know God as a MIRACLE WORKING GOD???? Thank you Lord for your supernatural healing! If he did it for my son He can do it for you! He was faithful to start a good work and will be faithful to COMPLETE it.”

Additionally, she said, “The doctors told our son he would never walk. He has never been able to wear sandals in years. The Lord told me to get him sandals.”

As shown in the video, the little boy was running fast with the sandals that his mother bought for him as an act of faith that he would be able to walk again.

After running around, the little boy happily said, “Thank You, Lord.”

Her First Experience in Heaven

At the age of seven, Donna met Jesus while attending a Catholic church. She had no prior knowledge about who Jesus was, but at that time, she just knew He was God.

She describes what Jesus showed her in heaven, “It looked heavenly, and in the clouds, it was beautiful. And he was so wonderful and friendly. He cared about every single thing that concerned me as a seven-year-old. He cared if my mother was angry with me or if I had a fight with somebody; he was talking to me about all the things that were bothering me as a child. And I just felt so completely understood and loved,” Donna said.

And that’s when her search for more of God began.

Coming from a Catholic background, Donna thought, “Well, where can I better find Him than in a convent?”

Finding God the Second Time

After two and a half years of being at the convent she hadn’t learned much more about Jesus. Then Donna encountered God again.

While reading the life story of Pat Boone, she received Jesus as Savior and was filled with the Holy Spirit!

“I didn’t start having visitations immediately. It was a struggle for me to hear God speak… So I was frustrated. I would get alone with God, and I would say, “I want to hear you. I want to hear you like everybody else does.” Every day I pursued him,” Donna said.

Indeed, she found Him through the scriptures, “So, I began to see that whenever I was reading scripture, the sentences that would just jump out and touch my heart were Jesus talking directly to me through the word.”

But as she was seeking God deeper and deeper, she started having these encounters in hell and heaven.

Woman Who has Been to Heaven and Hell

Donna witnessed the Chamber of Despair in hell. She describes it as “a place that people who are tormented by demons in their minds are sent to. These demons were already tormenting these people on earth, causing them, even some, to commit suicide.”

“And rather than turn to Jesus for help, they didn’t. They denied Jesus, got mad at Jesus, and the enemy was able to bring them there. These people were tortured daily.”

In that place, many recognized that Jesus was there, and they started yelling out to him, screaming for him to help them. And Donna remembered Him saying, “I can’t help you now.”

Jesus doesn’t Want to See People Suffer

While Donna was standing beside Jesus with His arms around her, she could feel His broken heart at the sight of people suffering.

He said, “Daughter, I am in more pain watching these people suffer like this needlessly. If they had just accepted Me, if they had just turned from their sins and turned to Me, this would not have been their lot in life. They would never have come here.”

He said, “I died for them so they would live forever in my kingdom.”

When asked what the most important thing people should be doing right now, Donna answered, “The most important thing for us to be doing is spending time in intimate fellowship with the Lord. That is the most important thing. That’s what he’s looking for.”

“You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you!” (Isaiah 23:3, NLT).
