An African choir sang late Nightbirde’s song “It’s Okay” during their America’s Got Talent audition, getting the Golden Buzzer from the audience.

Jane Marczewski, popularly known as Nightbirde, has been one of the most unforgettable participants in the history of America’s Got Talent. She was known for her amazing talent, her inspiring story, and her passionate spirit. Nightbirde got the Golden Buzzer during her audition for AGT in June 2021.
However, due to her battle with cancer, she wasn’t able to continue the competition. She passed away in February 2022 and left a legacy of hope and inspiration. One of the things she always shared was her faith in God.
“Life is complicated and friendship with God does not make life less complicated,” Nightbirde wrote. “But as I get older I am realizing that I would not have it any other way.”

Mzansi Youth Choir
Recently a choir from Soweto Johannesburg, South Africa stepped on AGT’s stage to sing a tribute for Nightbirde and to inspire many more people. The Mzanzzi Youth Choir delivered a beautiful rendition of Nightbirde’s song “It’s Okay.”
They received a standing ovation for their spectacular performance. Judge Simon Cowell was brought to tears as he was giving his comments.
“I know how much this would’ve meant for her. Right until the end, she has always been passionate about sharing her music,” he shared.
When asked why they sang that specific song, the Mzansi Youth Choir said that they were greatly inspired by Jane and that they wanted to continue her legacy.
“When we heard Nightbirde sing the song on the stage, we were very inspired and touched by her story that we decided to record the song. To our surprise, she responded so beautifully. This song has been such a pillar of strength for us as a choir through difficult times. We just want to continue the legacy.”
