Nina Katja Christinck was abused, but she testified about how Jesus powerfully restored her identity.
Abused And Molested Woman
Nina didn’t grow up as a Christian. Her parents got divorced when she was 17 years old. After that, her mom met another man who happened to be an alcoholic. Meanwhile, she was molested, abused, and raped, but her parents didn’t know about it. She even wrote a letter, and she stated there, “Is there a light in the darkness?… Is there love even for me?… No, there is no love for me.” Nina felt hopeless to the point that she decided to kill herself.
While she was planning to end her life, she heard a voice saying, “You can kill yourself right now; you just can jump before the train cause nobody cares anyway.” And she heard another voice that said, “But, what is with God?” She responded by thinking that she didn’t believe in God anymore. Then, the voice said, “You have nothing to lose.” That’s when she decided to test God.
The Voice of God
“Okay, God, if you’re real, change my life, or I kill myself,” she said. Three weeks later, her mom moved to another city close to her biological father. He happened to be a Christian and invited her to the church. That’s where she heard about Jesus.
She remembered the pastor preached that Jesus Christ is the Son of God who died for sinners and rose again. At that moment, a voice spoke to her, “See, I changed your life. Do you want to believe now?” Because of that encounter, she realized that God was real.
Furthermore, Nina got pregnant and gave birth to a premature baby.

Awakening Europe
A woman in the church asked her to watch the Awakening in Europe Conference. She watched it through GOD TV. Then, God used one preacher to remind her of her true identity. She was captivated by the preacher’s passion and conviction about the gospel. After that, the preacher said a word that changed her life, “I am free from guilt, condemnation, and shame for more than 10 years.” Nina thought that it was impossible because the church told her that she needed to deal with the guilt all her life.
And then the preacher said that if someone was hurt by a church, it is because they didn’t know God. When she heard that, she totally freaked out. “All the thoughts of suicide were immediately gone. I was free. All the guilt, all the condemnation, all the shame… it just left… I was really born again on that day,” she testified.
Lastly, she encouraged people to watch GOD TV because it can help them know more about God and even get some corrections like what she experienced.
