A man who met Jesus in prison testified about his beautiful story of redemption during his baptism at Free Chapel.
A Man Who Met Jesus In Prison
An ex-inmate who met Jesus in prison shared his beautiful story of redemption during the Free Chapel water baptism service. Before he was baptized, Pastor Jentezen Franklin asked about his story. He then shared that he was released from prison in July 2023. He encountered the love of Jesus at Washington State Prison in 2018 through the Kairos prison ministry. Since then, he has been delivered from 25 years of meth addiction.
After his release, he truly felt God’s blessings. He immediately started working, got his license, and bought a brand-new car. When he purchased his car, he met a nice lady who led him to Free Chapel. That’s when he fell in love with the church. This happened on November 25. It was also their first date at the church, and the woman gave him a Bible.
Story of Redemption
Furthermore, his partner and brother were also present at the service and witnessed this life-changing moment with him. Meanwhile, Pastor Jentezen commended the woman for bringing his partner to the church on their first date and for giving him a Bible.
Moreover, the man testified that God did amazing things in his life. “I lived a life of addiction for a long time and ran. Got behind the walls and fell into gang activity in there. And He just kept coming to me. He’s like, He’s not going to give up,” he highlighted.
Then, he encouraged those who were facing what he experienced, “So, you know, I say to any of the guys that’s watching behind the walls. And if you’re in the prison system, man, like Jesus loves you. Give your life to Him. If He can fix me, He can fix any of y’all man.”
