The Word of God works for us no matter how young or old we are! 92-year-old Pauline Jacobi almost became the victim of a parking lot robbery. Thankfully, the presence of God was in her car and she was quick to confess God’s Word.
Pauline had just finished putting her groceries inside her car at a nearby Wal-Mart when a man jumped into her car through the passenger’s side door. He told her he had a gun and that he would shoot her if she didn’t give him money.
“I’m not going to give you my money,” Pauline said. In fact, she told him “No” three times. Then she started to share the Word of God with him.
The power of the Word of God
“As quick as you kill me I’ll go to Heaven and you’ll go to hell,” she said she told the man. “Jesus is in this car and He goes with me everywhere I go.”
“Call on me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you will honor me.” (Psalm 50:15)
After Pauline released those powerful words from her mouth, a great presence filled the would-be robber’s heart leading him to burst into tears. Watch how the man even thanked her and kissed her on the cheek before he walked away.
