Man who battled 25 years of addiction miraculously experienced God’s anointing while he was watching GOD TV.
Broken Man
David started drinking and doing drugs in his early 20s. He felt so broken and there was no joy in his life. “I hated my lifestyle, and this went on for many years – 25 year addiction as an alcoholic. I drank for over that, had many DUIs. My life’s just so broken out of control,” David recalled. He admitted that he wasn’t fulfilling his roles as a father or a husband. He was ashamed because of what he brought to his family and himself.
In 1997, David’s brother took Him on a revival event. And there, he received Jesus. “God moved into my life mightily,” David shared. But then, he slipped back into his old ways. In 2009, he experienced the worst year of his life. He fasted to break the chain of alcoholism and drug abuse. After the fast was over, he got sick and couldn’t go to church. It was a hopeless moment for David, but then God moved.

25 Years of Addiction Broken
“I was crying out to God and, GOD TV, that anointing is so strong they came through the television,” David said. He was watching Tom Bentley who was praying for joy. He started to break out in laughter and it happen multiple times. That’s when David realized that God was for him. He knew in his heart that God had never left Him.
Today, David is replying on the Lord. “When you have a television program like God’s Channel, and you can turn it on and hear the word … it’s like feeding that fire that’s within you to serve God – to do God’s work,” David testified.
Indeed, God is using media to spread the Gospel to every screen!
