A woman who underwent 16 surgeries and nine years of physical therapy testified that God was the ultimate Healer.
16 Surgeries
A woman named Naomi met a tragic accident in 2001. She was going to visit her family when her luggage fell out of the back of the vehicle. While she was trying to retrieve the clothes from the road, a car traveling between 60-70 mph struck her. It left her with broken bones in her right leg and a pelvis broken into three pieces. She had both severe injuries and internal bleeding.
“I was placed in a wheelchair in a hospital bed for over a year in my home. I was told twice, I would had to have my leg amputated. And I underwent 16 surgeries and nine years of physical therapy,” she recalled. Meanwhile, she also developed a nerve disease that twisted her leg sideways. But despite the pain she went through, she still believed that God helped her through that season.
Emergency Brain Surgery
Furthermore, in the spring of 2021, she experienced pain once again. When she had an MRI scan, the doctor discovered a cyst that was going down from her brain, neck, and shoulders. She then underwent emergency brain surgery, and after that, her neurosurgeon told her that there was nothing more that could be done. She was told that her life would be filled with pain. But everything shifted when God did something miraculous in her life.
She believed the best way to get out of her painful experience was to get closer to God. So, she attended a High School Summer Camp while struggling with pain. There, she saw Pastor Chad Moore from Sun Valley Community Church and asked him to pray for her.

Ultimate Great Healer
Moreover, she highlighted that after Pastor Chad prayed for her, the pain not only dissipated, but the feeling of heaviness was also lifted off from her. Eventually, her doctor also decided that she wouldn’t go through another surgery since the MRI results showed that the cyst had shrunk by half.
“There are lessons. Valuable lessons that I am grateful for that He is teaching me. And continues to teach me every day. From this, God is the ultimate great Healer. His love for us is infinite. And He extends that every day. By His grace, I am here, and I continue to be,” she testified.
