Samantha shared her testimony about how God healed the 13 years of chronic pain in her body.
13 Years Of Chronic Pain
Samantha is a 35-year-old woman from California who had been injured in the military years ago. Since then, she underwent several back surgeries and has been living with chronic pain.
“I have paralysis in my left leg, and my body is not functioning the way I had hoped it would. Living with chronic pain as a missionary overseas has been incredibly challenging, to say the least. But I have been pushing through,” Samantha shared.
During Open Heavens 2022, Samantha received a prophetic word that had a profound impact on her.
“I was attending Libby’s breakout session, and God came to me through her with a prophetic word specifically for the last two toes on the right side… And in that instant, the Lord touched my leg,” Samantha recalled, her emotions evident.
Healed after receiving a prophetic word
After receiving the prophetic word, Samantha experienced a remarkable healing. For the first time in 13 years, she regained sensation in the left side of her leg and her pinky toe! In addition, she had a vision during this encounter.
“I saw gold pouring out over my back, lubricating my spine. All the discs, vertebrae, and muscles were being restored,” Samantha expressed with gratitude.

She felt the years of rigidity she had been carrying completely leave her back. “I feel like a noodle,” she exclaimed. “My back no longer hurts when I move. I jumped up, lying on my stomach, feeling like a kid again.”
Her body was restored to its pre-injury state from her time in Iraq, and she experienced an intense fire of God’s presence.
The Power of Love
Now, Samantha is sharing her testimony to convey the message that God heals because He loves.
“This is what love does, this is what love looks like. There’s a time and a place for everything and this is the time for my love. I try to get up and look around and I just have to lay prone again because it would just keep coming. And then it was just like this heat that would just start billowing around me. It’s like I have the body of a teenager again. Where I could just go run even if I fall, it doesn’t matter because it’s not gonna hurt. Just get back up and keep going,” she concluded.
